Land to Space : Episode 1

Land to Space — Episode 1: "Welcome to Land to Space"

Hosts: Alex and Jordan · Length: ~8 minutes · Released: October 19, 2026

Summary

In the premiere episode, Alex and Jordan introduce Land to Space, the show about the most dramatic commute in human history: the journey from the launch pad to orbit, and the cameras and storytellers who let the rest of us come along for the ride.

The episode opens with the show's founding idea: almost none of us will fly to space ourselves, so we experience it through media; cameras bolted to rockets, photographs taken by astronauts, and the feeds that let millions hold their breath at the same moment. The hosts also introduce Lisa TheLandstronaut, founder and ambassador of the Land to Space initiative, and Landstronaut, the lifestyle-of-futurism brand behind the show.

Then it's on to a remarkable week in spaceflight. At Kennedy Space Center, NASA has finished stacking the twin solid rocket boosters for Artemis III — each 177 feet tall, together providing more than 75% of the SLS rocket's liftoff thrust — with core stage integration and a fueling rehearsal up next. Artemis III, targeting 2027, will fly Randy Bresnik, Frank Rubio, Andre Douglas, and Luca Parmitano on a Moon-landing rehearsal featuring crewed docking demonstrations with the SpaceX and Blue Origin landers.

Meanwhile, NASA has released more than 800 gigabytes of Artemis II data: 11,000+ images and videos, 8.5 hours of audio, and crew-annotated observations including lunar impact flashes — the first planetary science dataset gathered mostly by human eyes in more than 50 years, collected by Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen.

Finally, the hosts go behind the lens: how mission cameras survive violent vibration, hundred-degree temperature swings, and radiation — and why a photograph taken by a human hand still does what no engineering diagram can.
